Our Mother's Day Feast... without the Roast Beast...

So, for Mother's Day, instead of roast beast, we had orange-honey glazed chicken! It was fantastic! My mouth is just watering thinking about it...

Here's the finished product!
haha! This is the "real" Claire. No, she really isn't that sweet little thing you always see... I'm just kidding. We had some fun with the camera. :)

Pounding the chicken.

Then covering it in flour so there is a crunch to the chicken without deep frying..
MUCH HEALTHIER!

Camera fun. This is a nasty picture of me, but I love how cute Andrew looked!

Me and beautiful Claire.

Dad reading me the instructions from our Cook's Illustrated Collection.

Cute SIBLINGS!!! If your wondering where Jake is, he's in the other room playing the video game waiting for us to be done with the main course. His only job during the whole thing was to make the potatoes. Heaven forbid he did anything else! :P

Here is our 'oh so yummy' glaze.

Getting the chicken coated and put into the pan was a two-man job.

Huddled around the oven trying to see if the chicken was done. This was totally NOT posed. My mom came in and told us to turn around. Apparently we looked really funny.

All in all, it was a great meal with great company! Happy Mother's day mom!!!.. again..
