SO WHAT'S NEW WITH ME??

SPRING IS HERE!

Spring is finally here! It's been getting warmer and lighter, and just plain better. I'm so excited for summer to be here! I'm working really hard to finish school so that I can work on the farm. I HOPE I can go... I was really looking forward to it, but if I'm not done, then.... oh well I guess.... But that's not the point! With spring comes farming and with farming comes FERTILIZER...In Norway you always know that it is Spring because it smells like poop EVERYWHERE!! gross.

THE BAND CONCERT:

Andrew, Jacob, and Claire had their band concert. They all did a great job!

Unfortunately I didn't get any pictures or videos at the concert, but afterwards they posed for me. This is Andrew and his trumpet.

Jakey and his trombone. He had about 5 solo's and was amazing to listen to! KEEP IT UP!!!

Here is Claire and HER trumpet. She did amazing too. GO CLAIRE!!!

BABYSITTING:

I watched 3 little girls last week. It was so fun. I forgot how care-free your life is when you are that little. I absolutely love them! We played dress up, house, watched movies, went to the park, went on nature walks, ate snacks, and ran around pretending to be "fairy butterfly princesses"

This is Mary Alice! She is SO FUNNY! and so smart. I'm not even kidding.

This is Alex. She was shy at first, but totally fit in after she got used to me. I loved how silly she could be, and SO thoughtful. When I was painting the girls nails, she let the other two go first. I was so suprised. There is something to be learned from everyone I guess, no matter what age.

CUTE TOES!!! ... freshly painted I might add... I made them sit there so I didn't have to repaint them for the 8th time.

Of course we HAD to go outside in out ballerina outfits.... This is Lauren. She is SO HYPER!!!

Playing the "fairy butterfly princess" game. .. how this works: You run around with your stick wand, putting enchanted spells on every flower that you see... including every single dandelion... Then If you get to the end of the street before any of the other fairies, you become the "fairy butterfly princess"

HANGING WITH ANJA:

I went to town with Anja yesterday cause we were going to go to the school Amnesty International (it's a club) concert.... we ended up being so early we just walked to the school from the middle of town.. it took about 3-4 hours... I'm not even kidding. It's a good thing that the weather was great :P

WOO HOO!!! anja is going to kill me for putting this picture up, but I thought it was funny. These are her RUSS pants. I LOVE THEM! I wish now that I had got a pair... :( sad..

AT THE CONCERT:
Paradees sang at the concert and did SO WELL! I went to support her. She sang beautifully and knocked everyones socks off!! I sat in the front row making faces at her so she wouldn't be so nervous. It kept her smiling :) LOVE YOU PARA!!!
